People across the west woke up to a blanket of snow this morning.

The UK has recorded its coldest March temperature since 2010, with the wintry conditions bringing snowfall to several parts of the country.

A Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice is in place on Wednesday and Thursday.

From Southstoke in North East Somerset, Avebury in Wiltshire to Glastonbury in Somerset, here are just some of the west of England's snowy scenes.
