Bristol in pictures: Images from across the city
- Published
At any point, there are dozens of photographers out and about in Bristol capturing snapshots of life, from news to sport and live entertainment.
Here is a selection of images taken in the city over the past few days.
Dancing days: Love Saves The Day has brought tens of thousands of music fans to Ashton Court this weekend, many of them braving showers and wind on Sunday - but the music never stops (below).
Coming around again: Echobelly, who broke into the UK charts in the mid 1990s, are back on the road, and their tour brought them to The Fleece on Thursday night.
The city centre venue may be increasingly surrounded by new developments as Bristol changes, but it is still a haven for fans of live music.
Job done: After what organisers from Ride Bristol describe as a "whole load of hard work by volunteers and donations from businesses" the newly-refurbished mountain bike trails opened in Ashton Court on Saturday.
Setting sail: Members of Bristol pirate band Piratitude get ready for their gig at the Rising Sun pub on Friday night.
The band keep many of the pirate-related legends of the city going through their shanties.
Going underground: The ongoing Upfest Presents festival moved into the crypt of St Paul's Church on Coronation Road this week, giving visitors a chance to look at the art up close.
Jurassic (country) park: Visitors to Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park get to experience walking among a large collection of animatronic dinosaurs. Raptors, triceratops and brachiosaurus walk by the banks of the River Avon thanks to the technology.
There's a day for everything: It was Paloma Day this week, the annual celebration of the cocktail that owes its origin to Mexico. It was celebrated (above) at Rick's bar at The Bristol hotel in the city centre.
