Ex-Norwich coach 'Kit' Carson held in historical football abuse probe

Michael "Kit" Carson has worked as a coach and scout for a number of clubs
A former football coach and scout has been arrested as part of an investigation into allegations of abuse in the sport.
Michael Sean Carson, 74, and known as "Kit", from Cambridge, has been detained on suspicion of indecency with children and indecent assault.
He has worked for clubs including Peterborough United, Cambridge United and Norwich City.
Cambridgeshire Police said a man in his 70s remains in custody.
The BBC understands the alleged offences relate to Mr Carson's work at Cambridge United and Peterborough United.
Mr Carson joined The Canaries as youth manager in 1983, working with children aged nine to 16, before joining Peterborough as an academy director ten years later.
In 2001, he moved to Cambridge United as head of youth development, a post he retained until 2006, when he left to join Histon FC.
Mr Carson has also worked extensively in Finland - where he began coaching youth teams in 2012 - and taken UK youth teams on competitive tours of the country.
Police said they were working with the Football Association, local children's safeguarding boards and councils as part of their county-wide investigations.
