A30 upgrade: Drivers warned of weekend closure
- Published
Drivers are being warned of another closure linked to the A30 road project in Cornwall.
The A390 between Chiverton Interchange and Penstraze, external, one of the main routes into Truro, will be closed from 19:00 GMT to 06:00 GMT on Monday.
The resurfacing of the A390 is part of the £330m project to dual the road between Carland Cross and Chiverton.
There will be diversions in place and the A30 between Carland Cross and Scorrier will remain open.
"We expect there to be delays around the closure and diversion routes over the weekend so please plan ahead, allow extra time for essential journeys and avoid the area if possible," said National Highways.
Access will be maintained via Penstraze Lane for emergency service vehicles and key bus routes only.
There will also be access for properties and businesses within the closure.
