Myton Hospice nurse appeal raises more than £114,000

An appeal to to raise funds for more hospice nurses has collected more than £114,000.

BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's 12-month Myton Nurse Appeal started in October 2011 and has raised enough money to pay for three nurses for a year.

Each new nurse will care for 43 extra patients, Myton Hospice said.

Myton hospices in Rugby, Coventry and Warwick offer free care to 2,000 people every year and rely on donations of about £7m a year.
