Sertec Group creates 150 new jobs in Coleshill

Up to 150 jobs are to be created in North Warwickshire by the automotive component manufacturer Sertec Group.

The firm is investing in a new plant on the former Greenwoods Communications site in Coleshill, which shut down in July with the loss of 240 jobs.

Sertec, which produces parts for Jaguar Land Rover, is currently based just half a mile away.

It plans to build a new component assembly hall and logistics operation.

The head office and administration teams will also move to the new site.

Group Managing Director Grant Adams said: "We needed more space to allow for our increased production requirements and for the 150 additional employees we are recruiting throughout the group.

"This will make us second only to BMW as the largest employers in the area, which is great news for Coleshill."
