Drivers face new lane restrictions and a 40mph speed limit on the M5 as work continues on improving junction 29.

There have been road works at the junction for Exeter for the past two months.

Work has now started on the central reservation area of the A30.

The work, due to be completed by next summer, is part of a scheme to provide access to the Exeter Science Park and Skypark industrial estate.

Devon County Council said some lane restrictions were being removed or partially removed during the morning and evening rush hours.

Councillor Stuart Hughes said: "Every effort is being made to minimise disruption while these essential road improvements are carried out, but some delays may be unavoidable and we apologise for any inconvenience."
