Owls return to Dorset webcam nest box

Barn owls have returned to a nest box in Dorset where web cameras are set up.

The "raptorcams", installed by Dorset Wildlife Trust at Lorton Meadows nature reserve, allow users to watch the pair, Bob and Brenda, rearing five eggs.

Two tawny owls, named Twit and Twoo by the charity, have also taken up residence in another box with a webcam and are raising three owlets.

The barn owl eggs are expected to hatch over the next month. Internet users can watch via the trust's website.
