Bournemouth man, 83, pleads guilty to manslaughter of wife

An 83-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his wife.
Elizabeth Richings, also 83, from Bournemouth, Dorset, died at an address off Wick Lane in the Southbourne area of the seaside town on 3 June.
During a hearing at Winchester Crown Court, Grenville Richings admitted manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility.
He will remain on conditional bail until his sentencing hearing at the same court on 12 December.
Richings, who was treated in hospital following the fatal incident, appeared by video link from his home.
