Bournemouth: Fire rips through roof and first floor of home
- Published
More than 40 firefighters have tackled a fire in the roof and first floor of a house in Bournemouth.
Crews from eight stations across Dorset were called to the fire in Gresham Road on Wednesday shortly after 17:30 BST.
The tiles on the detached home were stripped off by crews to tackle hotpots within the roof.
The fire service said nobody was hurt in the blaze, and an investigation found it had started accidentally due to an electrical fault.
Crews left the scene shortly before midnight.
