Council orders refuse collectors not to lift rubbish from bins

A council has been accused of madness after telling its refuse collectors not to lift sacks out of wheelie bins.

Norfolk County Council says that repeatedly lifting rubbish sacks out of wheelie bins could cause injury to their collectors.
