Essex Police seized hundreds of cannabis plants

A cannabis farm containing plants with an estimated street value of £250,000 has been uncovered at an industrial unit.

More than 250 plants and a similar number of seedlings were seized from the Foundry industrial estate in Hockley, Essex, on Friday morning.

Police said there had been no arrests following the discovery.

However, officers have appealed for anyone with information to come forward to help them with their inquiries.
