A food bank in Gloucestershire says it has seen an increase in the number of people needing food.
Gloucester Food Bank said it had seen a 10% increase in adults and a 17% increase in the number of children needing food, compared to 2010.
The charity said it had used reserve stocks to meet demand, despite 6.7 tonnes of food being donated in 2011.
Agencies in the county including Age Concern and children's centres issue food vouchers to those in need.
