Hollie Gazzard kissing seat to remember stabbed hairdresser

Colleagues of hairdresser Hollie Gazzard, who was fatally stabbed in a Gloucester salon, want to install a kissing seat in the city in her memory.

The 20-year-old hairdresser was attacked in February while working at Fringe Benefits in the city centre.

Staff at the salon where she worked are hoping to raise the funds for both a seat and the Hollie Gazzard trust fund.

Asher Thomas Maslin, 22, of Gloucester Road, Cheltenham, has been charged with Miss Gazzard's murder.

A trial is likely to take place in October at Gloucester Crown Court.

'Very much missed'

Marina Hodgins, from the salon, said her "vibrancy and love for life" were "very much missed".

"We would love to honour her memory and her vivacious spirit by installing a kissing seat in the city centre," she said.

"We feel this would be a fitting tribute for Hollie."
