Gloucester: Boy, 17, charged with attempted murder of girl

A teenager has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of a 16-year-old girl.
Police were called to an address in Kingsway, Gloucester, shortly after 20:00 GMT on Sunday.
The victim remains in hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
The 17-year-old appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Gloucester Crown Court on 1 March.
Gloucestershire Police said the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, initially fled the area, but was later arrested at a different address.
