Hampshire PC charged with child sex offences

A Hampshire police officer has been charged with making indecent images of a child, sexual assault and grooming a girl under 16.
PC Keith Burgess, 41, who was based at Southampton Central police station, also faces three counts of misconduct in public office.
Hampshire Constabulary said he had been suspended from duty until the criminal investigation is completed.
He was bailed to appear before Guildford magistrates next month.
