Police say the A34 southbound carriageway will be shut until the evening

One person has died in a crash involving a lorry, van and car on the A34 in Hampshire.

Three people were taken to hospital - two with serious injuries and one with minor injuries.

The crash happened on the southbound carriageway, just outside Bullington, at about 09:20 BST.

The road is expected to remain closed, between the A303 and the A272, until "at least" 19:00 while investigations are carried out, police said.

The A30 is also closed in both directions and drivers are being diverted via the M3 or A33.
