Black History Month: Basingstoke afro hair specialist on embracing natural curls

Aviy Farfan runs a hair salon in Basingstoke that specialises in looking after curly and afro hair.

She has lived in the area for more than 15 years and said she had seen an increase in customers embracing their natural style.

She said: "I think it's absolutely fantastic that we're at a point now where we can actually say, 'This is me. I don't need to conform.'"
