A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Hereford.

Christian Bagley, 30, from the city, was found with stab wounds to his arm and back in Rogers Avenue at 22:50 BST on Sunday.

He died at Hereford County Hospital.

A 29-year-old man from the local area is in custody and being questioned on suspicion of murder, West Mercia Police said.

The victim is thought to have been walking along Villa Street when he was attacked on a pathway under the Hunderton Bridge.

Police said they believed he then made his way down Charles Witts Avenue before collapsing in Rogers Avenue, where he was found by officers.
