Kidderminster 'lifeless' cat found in bin doing incredibly well

A cat that was found by refuse workers in a bin under piles of rubbish is now doing "incredibly well", vets say.
The male cat called Asher was found "lifeless" by two workers who first thought he was a fur hat.
He was taken to the vets and then taken in by the RSPCA in Stourbridge where he has been re-gaining weight daily.
Wyre Forest District Council said a fundraiser had been set up for Asher's ongoing vet bills.
Stourbridge and District RSPCA said Asher had gone from "2.5kg to 3.2kg in one week and is gaining strength to stand for longer, move more and to groom himself independently".
"From a starved, malnourished old boy, to finally getting the spring back in his step," branch staff added.
