A section of the A40 in Herefordshire has partially re-opened after being closed for several days due to a landslip.

One lane of the road's eastbound carriageway between the A466 in Monmouth and A49 in Wilton is in use, National Highways reports.

There is a temporary 40mph speed limit and the road's second lane remains closed, it adds.

The landslip on the eastbound carriageway happened on 9 February.

The westbound carriageway re-opened the following day.
