Grimsby Swimming Pool will close once the new centre opens

Detailed plans and building designs for a new leisure centre in Grimsby are going on public display later ahead of being considered for council approval.

The facility in Grimsby will replace the town's ageing swimming pool, known as Scartho Baths.

The council wants feedback on the designs before submitting a planning application.

Plans will be on show at Grimsby pool from 12:00 to 15:00 GMT and at Grimsby Auditorium from 17:00 to 20:00 GMT.

The centre will include a 25-metre swimming pool, reception and changing rooms and will be built in front of the existing Grimsby Leisure Centre to enable people to use the current facility whilst building work takes place.
