Missing Kent prisoner Vincent Saywell captured in Devon

A prisoner who failed to return to an open prison in Kent after being released on temporary licence has been recaptured in Devon.

Vincent Saywell failed to return to Blantyre House in Goudhurst after working in Maidstone on 21 November.

Kent Police said he was arrested in Plymouth on Monday and is being held in police custody.

Blantyre House is a category C/D open prison for low-risk inmates normally near the end of their terms.
