Cannabis plants worth £132,000 seized at Herne Bay house

A man has been arrested after 157 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £132,000 were seized from a house in Kent.

Kent Police found the plants during a search of an address in Lancaster Gardens, Herne Bay.

The force said it investigated the house after people raised concerns.

A 39-year old man from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and bailed until 4 November pending further enquiries.
