The family of a woman who died when a car hit her mobility scooter have paid tribute to her "kind and loving soul".
Angela Carney, 65, died when a Nissan Navarra towing a 4x4 vehicle struck her in Cleckheaton on Tuesday 26 September.
In a statement her family said: "No words can describe the devastation this has caused."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the driver was helping them with their enquiries but asked any witnesses to come forward.
The crash happened at about 17:00 BST on Westgate at the junction with Westcliffe Road, the force added.
The family statement added: "Our dear mum, also loving nana, great nana, sister and auntie was tragically taken away from us.
"Angela was a kind and loving soul whose door was always open to anyone; she will be sadly missed by her family and everyone that knew her."
Officers said they would like to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage who was present in the area at the time of the collision.
