Leeds man pledges to preserve World War One trench in Belgium

A man from Leeds has spoken of his ongoing campaign to preserve a World War One trench dug by Yorkshire soldiers in Belgium.

John Morrison has spent two years raising more than £14,800 to help restore the trench.

He said: "I'm happy to see that it's been saved, but there's more work to be done."

The trench is located in Ypres.
