Mandy Barnett: Boy, 17, appears in court on stabbing murder charge

A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with murdering a woman who died after being found stabbed in Leeds.
Mandy Barnett, 60, was found injured at a house in Prince Edward Grove, New Farnley, on 23 October and died later.
The teenager, who cannot be named due to his age, did not enter a plea during the hearing at Leeds Crown Court.
A provisional trial date was set for 15 April, with the boy remanded in custody ahead of his next expected appearance at the same court on 9 February.
