Leicester: Trio bailed after city shooting arrests

Three people who were arrested over a shooting in Leicester have been bailed.

Officers were called to Mulberry Avenue at 23:00 GMT on 3 February, to reports a stationary car had been shot at.

Leicestershire Police confirmed a man in his 30s, who was in the vehicle, suffered a minor injury as a result.

A total of eight people have been detained in connection with the investigation, after the arrest of two men, 34 and 38, and a 28-year-old woman.

The men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, while the woman was held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
