Fourth attempted murder arrest after stabbing in Leicester park

A fourth man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing at a park in Leicester.

Police were called to Braunstone Park, near Cort Crescent, just after 15:00 BST on Thursday following a report that an 18-year-old man had been stabbed.

The man was taken to hospital with an injury that police said was not believed to be life-threatening.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on Saturday and has since been released on bail.

Three other men, two aged 21 and a 26-year-old, were also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and later released on bail.
