Two people have been seriously injured after they were hit by a car at the entrance of a Tesco supermarket in Horncastle.

Lincolnshire Police said it was called to reports of a collision involving a black Nissan Qashqai and two pedestrians in Watermill Road at 13:15 GMT on Friday.

A man in his 60s and a woman in her 70s were taken to hospital.

Police appealed for witnesses or people with dashcam footage to come forward.
