Users of Dysart Park in Grantham are being consulted on potential improvements

Users of a popular Lincolnshire park are being asked for their views on how it could be improved.

Park-users have until 5 February to share their thoughts on Dysart Park in Grantham with South Kesteven District Council.

The survey asks for views on the condition of the park and how much users know about its links with the town's industrial past.

Councillor Paul Stokes said the park is "viewed with affection by many".

Mr Stokes, the authority's portfolio holder for leisure and culture, added: "To ensure that the facility continues to hold a special place in people's hearts, it is important that the council preserves, protects and maintains the park for future generations.

"The feedback people provide when responding to our questions helps us identify improvements and at the same time illustrates a demand for the park and its facilities. I would encourage anyone interested in Dysart Park to seize this opportunity to have their say."

The survey can be found here, external. Printed copies can also be collected from the Guildhall Arts Centre and the Visitor Centre in Wyndham Park, Grantham.
