'Cocky' deputy mayor criticised at first police meeting

Stephen Greenhalgh has only been in his job just over three weeks but things have not been running smoothly for the new deputy mayor for policing.

Mr Greenhalgh has already lost two senior civil servants, who suddenly left their jobs this week, and on Wednesday he was criticised by a cross-party of London Assembly members for being unprepared, "cocky" and for turning up without Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe.
