Last section of track laid in £15bn Crossrail project

The last section of track has been laid in London's £15bn Crossrail project.

The track will eventually run London's new underground rail service, the Elizabeth Line - named after the Queen.

The entire project is now 85% complete and running on time. The first passenger services are expected to run at the end of 2018.
