London patient raises awareness of leukaemia in young people

Leukaemia patient Joe Medcalf lived a healthy lifestyle before his diagnosis, and he wants to raise awareness of the cancer's symptoms.

The 28-year-old from Putney had fatigue, unexplained bruising, and repeat infections before discovering he had the illness.

Less than 1% of Londoners can identify the disease's symptoms, according to Anna Wilson from the charity Leukaemia UK.
