A man stabbed to death near to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been named as 46-year-old Okechukwu Iweha.

Mr Iweha, from the local area, was found unresponsive early on Sunday morning in Northumberland Park in Haringey, north London.

Paramedics from London Ambulance Service treated him at the scene but he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Mr Iweha's family has been told and a post-mortem examination will be held later this week, say police.

Detectives have not made any arrests in connection with his death and have appealed for witnesses, especially people living in the area who may have private CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact them.
