A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man died in a stabbing in north-east London.

Police were called to reports of a fight at South Birkbeck Road, Waltham Forest, at about 23:15 BST on Thursday.

A suspect was arrested at the scene and remained in police custody at a station in east London, the Met Police said.

A post-mortem examination would be held in due course and a crime scene remained in place, the force added.
