Man critically injured in Partington car robbery stabbing

A man has been critically injured after being stabbed and the attackers then drove off in his car.
The victim, in his 50s, suffered life-threatening injuries in the robbery on Moss Lane, Partington in Trafford at about 21:00 GMT on Friday.
Greater Manchester Police said two men then fled the scene after stealing the Ford Focus and drove in the direction of Central Road.
No arrests have been made, the force said.
'Isolated incident'
Insp Justin Bryant appealed for any CCTV, video, or dashcam footage "as a matter of urgency".
The force had a team of detectives "working to piece together a timeline of events leading up to this incident", he added.
He said the local community would notice an "increased police presence" as inquiries continued, adding: "I want to provide reassurance that this incident is believed to be isolated with no threat to the wider public."
