CBBC's Hacker T Dog celebrates 15 years on screen
CBBC star Hacker T Dog is celebrating entertaining the nation for 15 years - in his own inimitable way.
Arguably Wigan's most famous export since Sir Ian McKellen, he continues to amuse viewers with his madcap antics and occasionally outrageous observations.
However, speaking to Emmanuelle Lhoni from BBC North West Tonight, he revealed how he almost turned down the role due to the commute to London, but changed his mind after a chat with former incumbent Edd the Duck.
His ensuing adventures have seen him interviewing stars from the world of sport and entertainment, failing to marry his unrequited love and former Wimbledon host Sue Barker, and even being introduced to Queen Elizabeth II.
