Flintoff opens new Alder Hey unit

Cricket star Andrew Flintoff has opened new children's rehabilitation and physiotherapy facilities at Liverpool's Alder Hey Hospital.
The unit at the West Derby children's hospital is the first to be funded by the AF Foundation set up by the former England and Lancashire cricketer with his wife Rachael.
The project replaces older facilities with more modern equipment.
The unit at Alder Hey will treat young people aged up to 18 years.
Mr Flintoff said: "We are delighted and so very proud to open our very first flagship unit.
"We are at the start of a fantastic journey which will make a huge difference to children all over the country.
"Most of these hospitals have highly-skilled, specialised rehabilitation teams, but unfortunately the existing facilities from which they carry out their work often don't match the expertise."
The unit at Alder Hey Hospital will be used as a blueprint for future AF Foundation Rehabilitation and physiotherapy units across the UK.
