Woman, 21, arrested over stab death in Dingle

A 21-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed in Merseyside.

The 21-year-old man, who has not been named, was found with a stab wound to his chest at a house on Charlecote Street, Dingle, at about 05:00 GMT.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital but died a short time later, police said.

A woman arrested at the scene and is being questioned by police.
