- Published
A man who was killed in a stabbing attack on three people at a block of flats was the "most caring, loving, beautiful soul", his family have said.
Liam Humphreys, 28, died in hospital after being stabbed in Toxteth, Liverpool on Sunday.
His relatives said they were "devastated and heartbroken" at the loss of "our teddy bear Liam".
Merseyside Police said a 38-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of Mr Humphreys' murder.
He was also held on suspicion of wounding two other people.
The attack happened in a communal area of the flats in Upper Warwick Street, at the corner of Hillaby Close and Upper Warwick Place, at about 13:00 GMT.
A man in his 30s remains critical but stable in hospital while a woman, also in her 30s, is serious but stable.
In a tribute Mr Humphreys' family said the light had "gone from our lives, the room has gone dark forever and the world a more empty place".
"He was amazing and so, so loved and will be forever missed," they added.
