The man, in his 20s, was stabbed in Liverpool city centre
A man has been stabbed in an afternoon attack in Liverpool city centre, police have said.
The victim, in his 20s, was stabbed in the leg on Whitechapel just before 14:30 GMT on 23 December.
Merseyside Police said he was taken to hospital for treatment but his injury was "not thought to be life threatening".
The force has appealed for any information, CCTV or drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.
Ch Insp Tom Welch said: "It would have been extremely busy at the time of this incident, so if you saw anything, please let us know as a matter of urgency."
