Motorcyclist dies in collision with car in Bromborough

A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car, police have said.

Merseyside Police said a Kia Sportage and a motorcycle crashed at the junction of Stadium Road and Commercial Road in Bromborough, Wirral, at about 07:55 GMT.

It said a 36-year-old man who was riding the motorbike died at the scene.

Appealing for witnesses, a force representative said a 52-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
