Rio car death: Decision on King's Lynn roads in summer

Rio Bell died after being hit by a car in King's Lynn

West Norfolk Borough Council is to set up a special group to decide if roads are safe to open during events after a three-year-old boy was killed.

Rio Bell, from Lowestoft, Suffolk, died on 15 February after he was hit by a car at King's Lynn annual Mart fair.

The council is also to carry out an inquiry into the death in the summer after which a decision will be made.

A petition has been given to the council asking for road closures during future fairs.
