The famous golden mile of Great Yarmouth was turned white as plunging temperatures brought a flurry of snow.

A handful of brave beach walkers can be seen on the icy sands in this drone image, which captures the near-deserted seafront at about 10:30 GMT on Monday.

Photographer Oliver Bolton said he could not resist capturing the winter wonderland, despite the cold.

The Met Office had warned of snow and ice in east Norfolk and has forecast a chilly week but no further snow.
