Aquascutum's manufacturing plant in Corby is to close with the loss of all 115 jobs, administrators have said.
Insolvency company FRP said the plant, which makes the brand's luxury clothing, was to be shut down immediately to stem ongoing losses.
The brand entered administration on Tuesday. Many workers were in tears as they left the building having been told they would not be paid wages owed.
The GMB union said it was taking legal advice following the decision.
Sarah McCarron, who had worked at the plant for six years, said: "They knew what was coming but they left us with nothing.
"We were owed this month's wages and next month's wages that we have already worked.
"We are all gutted, we all loved our jobs here."
Sandra White, who also worked in the company, added: "I don't want to hope any more, I feel so let down."
The FRP spokesperson said the plant was "no longer viable."
"Regrettably, it has been concluded that the company's manufacturing plant in Corby is not viable to continue to trade due to loss-making operations and a lack of funding.
"We have been forced to begin the shutdown process of the plant, with all 115 staff at the site made redundant with immediate effect.
"Whilst a difficult decision, it has been necessary in order to stem on-going losses for the business, and to protect the positions of the 135 remaining employees."
The company said it would now focus on progressing discussions for a sale of Aquascutum.
