Tesco is to offer posts in Derbyshire to some of the 200 staff who are to lose their jobs in Northamptonshire.
The supermarket chain is to close its non-food centre on the Royal Oak Industrial Estate in Daventry and move the operation to Chesterfield.
The company said staff would also have the chance to move to its rail freight terminal at Crick near Daventry.
Tesco said the Daventry warehouse was operated by Wincanton and it was working with them to redeploy people.
