The family of a young woman who died in a road collision have paid tribute to a "cherished daughter, sister and partner".
Lucy Leahy, 23, was involved in a collision on the A509 between Bozeat and Wollaston, Northamptonshire, at 18:30 GMT on Friday.
Her mother said news that she had passed her final chartered accountancy exams came three days after her death.
A 42-year-old man from Bozeat was arrested in connection with the crash.
Northamptonshire Police said Ms Leahy had been driving home from her job in Milton Keynes to Irthlingborough, where she lived with her partner.
She had been studying to become a chartered accountant and was awaiting her exam results.
Ms Leahy's mother, Claire Shakespeare, said: "We are all devastated by this immense loss and kindly request privacy as we deeply mourn Lucy's untimely departure and try to cope with the passing of our cherished daughter, sister, and partner.
"Lucy was eagerly awaiting news that she had passed her final chartered accountancy exams. This significant accomplishment was confirmed just three days after she died.
"We were enthusiastically anticipating celebrating this achievement, marking the end of Lucy's challenging five-year journey to become a chartered accountant."
Police said the driver of a black Ford Ranger pickup travelling southbound on the A509 towards Bozeat, near Wellingborough, collided with a silver Ford Mondeo car and Ms Leahy's Citroen, both travelling in the opposite direction.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash cam footage of the collision to get in touch.
A 42-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving was released on bail, pending further inquiries.
