A "very dangerous man" has been found guilty of murdering a father of five, who was found with head injuries in a park.
Phillip Breach, 59, died in hospital after police were called to a report of a man crying for help in Wood Farm Park, Oxford, on 30 November 2022.
Liam Jones, 45, of Bonar Road, was convicted by a jury's majority verdict at Reading Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody to be sentenced on 23 May.
Mr Breach was found by police at about 06:05 GMT beside a path.
A post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and neck, police said.
Jones was arrested on 1 December 2022 and charged with murder four days later.
His first trial in 2023 was abandoned due to his ill health.
Det Insp Pete Clarke said: "A very dangerous man, Jones has now been convicted of murdering Phillip after a lengthy and thorough investigation.
"Thames Valley Police will never tolerate such violence in its communities."
In a previous statement, Mr Breach's children Daniella, Jordan, Tyler, Laylan and Stacey, said their father had been disabled after a hit-and-run incident, but "defied all odds" by walking again.
They said: "Our dad was simply one in a billion. You would never find another man like him.
"He never let anything beat him. Everyone who knew our dad would comment on what a kind, gentle soul he was."
