Telford Southwater plans on display

Redevelopment plans for Telford town centre are to go on display later this month.
The exhibition is part of a public consultation for the £250m Southwater scheme by Telford and Wrekin Council and leisure developers Citigrove.
The proposals include an 11-screen cinema, car park, hotel, restaurants, bars and other leisure facilities.
The plans will be on display in Southwater Square, next to Meeting Point House, on 11 and 12 November.
Developers said a detailed planning application would be submitted in December, with the first phase of building work to be completed within the next three years.
Council leader Kuldip Sahota said the scheme would create "a vibrant bustling heart" in the town centre.
The council will also be consulting over plans to make the "box road" around Telford shopping centre two-way.
In September, in a separate bid, the owners of Telford shopping centre, the Hark Group also released proposals for new shops, a supermarket and a multi-screen cinema within the town centre.
